Let's save resources together!
HappyCulture hotels have been audited in order to measure their environmental impact within the framework of the environmental display system for the hotel industry deployed by ADEME and the Ministry of Ecological Transition.
Accompanied by Betterfly Tourism, a publisher of solutions adapted to the tourism industry wishing to make a concrete commitment to sustainable development, the score given to each hotel was qualified on the basis of 4 indicators:
– CO2 emissions per guest
– Water consumption per customer
– Energy consumption per guest
– The share of organic or eco-labeled purchases
Our action plan has been designed in 3 acts:
Act 1: #Evaluate
Our hotels have been audited on the basis of the 4 indicators mentioned above. The hotels’ grades vary between A and D.
Act 2: #Act
We deploy a concrete action plan to improve our score and limit our environmental impact.
Act 3: #Participate
You can help us save resources in our hotels by declining the housekeeping service. This is no longer done systematically, but only on request from the customer at the hotel reception. This simple gesture allows you to save nearly 10% of the environmental footprint of your stay.
