Our boutique hotel in Levallois Perret: an original concept
The term boutique-hotel (in English, boutique hotel) refers to a category of establishments strategically placed in a niche market. That is to say, reserved for a limited category of people.
This concept crossed the Atlantic in the 1980s. The will of the owners being to differentiate themselves from the standard hotels present everywhere in the USA. The boutique-hotel presents itself in an original way with style and personality. And this is the case of our boutique hotel in Levallois, the Boris V (V for Vian).
Here time has stopped on the fringes of a memory: that of the thirty glorious ones. Charles Trenet sings the Nationale 7, which glorifies paid holidays at the seaside, and Boris Vian plays the trumpet at the Hot Club de France.
In 1950 "L'herbe rouge" was published, followed and preceded by numerous novels including "J'irai cracher sur vos tombes" which brought him trial and scandal. Between him and our boutique hotel, the tone and atmosphere seems to impose itself as a musical and literary interlude: upright piano, warm autumn tones, vintage decor. One almost expects to come across Boris Vian's alias: Vernon Sullivan, straight from the USA!
