Opposite the Opera House, between Place des Terreaux and Place de la Comédie, is the Lyon City Hall. It is one of the most imposing historical buildings in the city.
* The Bellecour square
It is the largest square in the city, but also the largest pedestrian square in Europe. It is located in the hypercentre of the peninsula of Lyon, and 700 metres from our hotel Lyon centre.

This square, located only 400 metres from our hotel Lyon 2, houses in its centre the magnificent fountain of the Jacobins, which features 4 artists from Lyon.

This museum, a former 17th century convent whose architecture alone is worth the detour, is located 550 meters north of our hotel Lyon Presqu'île. Also known as the Palais de Saint-Pierre, it presents works by Picasso, Matisse, Degas and Van Gogh.
* The place des Célestins

Also known as the Palais de la Bourse, it houses the Lyon Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It is a real architectural gem! Don't forget to visit the famous Salle de la Corbeille.
* Saint-Nizier church
Located less than 300 metres from the Silky Hotel, this church was one of the most important places of worship in the capital of Gaul.
However, other districts located in the centre are worth visiting.
