Today, many people come to Bordeaux to experience the best of times. Enjoy its landscaped banks, cultural events, the architecture of the listed monuments, gastronomy in a restaurant by the water or the sea in the Arcachon basin...
All this while admiring the crossing of the lift bridge by the cruise ships, a glass of Margaux in hand.
The historic centre of Bordeaux is a haven of peace classified as a World Heritage Site. The Saint-Pierre district opens up to you through the Cailhau gate, the only reminder of the city's ancient ramparts. Our hotel is located just a stone's throw from the Place de la Bourse, the Grand Théâtre, the Place des Quinconces and the Place de la Victoire.
The Cours de l'Intendance and the rue Peyronnet frame the "Vieux Bordeaux". This part of the city is made up of the Saint-Pierre, Sainte-Colombe, Saint Michel and Sainte-Croix districts.
Lovers of old stones will admire the finely carved facades. Lovers of fine wines and good food will find all the cuisines of the world in the bistros and restaurants of the district. A piece of advice: eat before visiting the mummies in the crypt at the foot of the Saint Michel spire!
Afterwards, you can venture into the Cité du Vin, a preparatory stage for a hike on the eponymous road. There await you wineries, winemakers, sublime cellars for tastings unique in the world.
Your wine waiter will explain the difference between a sauvignon (a Sauternes grape variety - sweet white wine) and a cabernet sauvignon, a grape variety used in the composition of Margaux, Pauillac, Saint-Estèphe... A world to discover.
It is sometimes difficult to find a meeting room in Bordeaux. The Konti Hotel has a meeting room for seminars, which can be adapted to suit each of the day's activities. During these meetings in Bordeaux, all the necessary equipment is provided on request: flipchart paper and rolls of paper, felt pens, video projector, etc.
A detox water dispenser, coffee or tea, and pastries are provided for those present.
Of course, free super wifi is always available for a global connection with the business world. A buffet lunch is organized on request in the seminar room. Meeting room rentals are offered at excellent value for money.
To unwind, join the banks of the Garonne, walk in the mirror of water, admire the Place de la Bourse and its palace with its golden hues sublimated by the sunsets.
A few kilometres away, the vineyards of the Médoc, the Entre Deux Mers, the Blayais and Saint Estèphe radiate. You will visit the cellars and castles of Bordeaux, all remarkable for their world-famous wines.
