Our hotel in the old Nice.
Discover the salmon pink façade of our family hotel in Nice, ideally located in the heart of the city. You will find there your calm, in a Belle Époque decor. Here, the patterns are reminiscent of the emotions of the Mediterranean, and give themselves the word to welcome you gently.
And soon, after putting down your suitcases in your air-conditioned room, you will go to meet them on the famous Promenade des Anglais. Unless you prefer to relax before going for a stroll: from the window, the sun floods the double bed, the ultra-modern bathroom and the mini bar.
If your beauty falls asleep in the spacious room, reserved by you, you can always decide to go down to the bar for a free hot drink all day long.
Then head to the Yummy Corner for a vitamin drink. There is no hurry, but you can also check your emails via the free high-speed wifi in the business corner.
The concierge service will confirm the rental of your yacht. There is no need to use the ironing equipment, you are not planning to go out tonight. A match is scheduled on one of the cable channels on the flat screen TV.
The breakfast buffet is available from 7.30 am until 10.30 am. Perfect for late risers. Perhaps you'll take it in your room?
Did you plan on coming with your whole tribe?
No problem! The Nap, hotel Nice Massena, has family rooms equipped with a bunk bed.
Our family hotel in Nice therefore welcomes your children, who will be delighted to spend this weekend on the French Riviera.
But if their main desire is to dive from the deck of the sailing boat into the warm waters of the Bay of Angels, you still intend to enjoy the tourist wonders of Nice close to the hotel! And you are right, you would be wrong to deprive yourself of the surprises that the city has in store for you :
➢ The flower market, for example, is held in Cour Saleya, a 15-minute walk from Via Pastorelli. You can even take tram line 1 or 2, if the children are too tired to reach the marina.
➢ A stone's throw away from our hotel in the old town of Nice is the Charles Nègre Museum of Photography, a Mecca for exhibitions of the great names in this art.
➢ Villa Masséna is a small architectural jewel visible from the Promenade des Anglais. It stands in its garden planted with trees to tell the story of Nice in the 19th century.

The Place Massena in Nice is today a must for all visitors to the city of Nice. An emblematic public square in Old Nice, no one would imagine coming to spend a stay in Nice without strolling through this spectacular place.
The origin of the work to create the square dates back to the years 1820-1830. The town planners' aim was to embellish the architectural decor of Old Nice. However, the square did not acquire its final shape and beauty until 2007, when restoration work was completed.
On this square, you will admire the Fountain of the Sun (again placed there in 2007), a monumental statue of Apollo at the entrance of the Charles Ehrmann Stadium and the 7 resin statues (of the scribes) placed on the sky, emblems of the 7 continents.
It is in the city center that the neo-classical architectural elements are the most striking, notably thanks to the mirror-like red facades of the surrounding houses.
The neighbouring square with the Albert I Garden, the Nice Opera House and the Sainte Reparate Cathedral is also dazzling. In addition to the architecture, Nice's gastronomy can be enjoyed here, in the restaurants with their open-air terraces.
Afterwards, take a hop on the Promenade des Anglais to the Palais des Congrès. This will take you along the seafront to the castle hill where you can visit the Gallo-Roman ruins.
Or to the airport if you are walking west...
The location of our hotel in the old town of Nice is ideal for visiting the "old town" on foot, as our English friends say. The old town of Nice is a perfect combination with the Paillon promenade and its water mirrors.
Without forgetting monuments such as the Jesuit or Gesu Church, the Chapel of Mercy or the Church of Saint Giaume. The latter will delight lovers of sacred monuments with their simplicity and discreet beauty.
To admire the secular monuments that make up the splendour of the old town, it is necessary to go to the morning markets of Cours Saleya and take a photo of the old Prefecture.
And if you love baroque, then the Lascaris Palace is the most remarkable ambassador of it. With its monumental frescoed staircase and luxuriously decorated lounges, it bears witness to a 17th century art of living.
A three-minute walk from there, you will find one of the most wonderful squares in Nice. The Place Saint-François, a place steeped in history where the old town hall of Nice and the medieval Franciscan church are enthroned, next to a 13th century convent.
A little further north of the old town of Nice, tourists get lost in the Place Garibaldi, the city's first large square. Its elegant ochre-yellow facades with arcades that fringe it harmonize perfectly with the mulberry trees, whose shadows hover over the chapel of the Holy Sepulchre (18th century).
Here too, the terraces of the cafés and restaurants invite you to laze around. And to be complete, your visit must end in the park of the Château de la Colline, from where the view extends as far as Africa, or almost! Then return to your Hotel Nice Massena, for a well-deserved rest.
