We have deployed an ambitious CSR program that implements concrete actions and want to offer our guests the opportunity to stay with a clear conscience. This global CSR approach, initiated since 2015, is now translated into a concrete commitment that we group under the name "Honotel: Committed Hospitality", based on three fundamentals: well-being at work, the environment and solidarity.

Association

For the past 5 years, HappyCulture has been a patron of the Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque association. Thanks to our commitment and the Course Verticale des Marches de Montmartre, we offer a new chance of life to 5 children every year. Each ascent of the steps brings in €100, directly donated to fund life-saving operations for children with heart defects. This commitment motivates us to surpass ourselves every year for this cause close to our hearts.\nIn 2024, HappyCulture was certified Great Place to Work, underlining our commitment to the well-being of our teams. This certification reflects a work environment where collaboration, inclusion and conviviality are at the heart of our values. At HappyCulture, we believe that fulfilled employees are the key to an exceptional customer experience!

Our environmental commitment

Ecological impact

The hotels in the HappyCulture group are implementing various environmental initiatives to reduce their ecological impact. A key measure is the installation of water fountains in each establishment, helping to limit the use of plastic bottles. In addition, to reduce water consumption, guests are invited to decline the daily housekeeping service. Some of the group's hotels also offer charging stations for electric vehicles, and others are planning to install them in the near future, reinforcing their commitment to sustainable mobility. These actions testify to their desire to promote more responsible tourism.

hotel

Environmental note

Each hotel in the HappyCulture group is given an environmental rating, assessing its ecological impact on the basis of several criteria. This score takes into account water consumption, energy consumption, CO2 emissions, as well as the use of eco-labelled products, all calculated for a one-night stay with breakfast.\nThis indicator enables establishments to measure and improve their environmental performance, while raising guests' awareness of the efforts being made towards more sustainable tourism. This system also encourages more eco-responsible resource management throughout the group.

Eco-gestes

Hotels in the HappyCulture group have introduced "eco-gestures" to encourage sustainable tourism and make their guests aware of simple ecological actions during their stay. These gestures include practices such as turning off lights when leaving the room, limiting the use of towels to reduce water and energy consumption, and sorting waste thanks to recycling garbage cans available in the establishments. By adopting these habits, customers actively participate in protecting the environment, while enjoying a more responsible stay that respects natural resources.
